Grant: The good news is, I might be able to fix your computer.
Patron: Great!

Grant: But I’m not a certified technician. It would be guesswork, luck, and small screwdrivers.

Grant: At some point I’d say something like, “Oops!” then a piece of plastic would snap and you’d probably get really angry.
Patron: I’m willing to take that chance.

Grant: Then you’re going to be disappointed to hear that the library won’t allow me to do any of it.
