Oh the things that are returned to the library. CDs that have been dropped in the mud, books that have been chewed on, odoriferous DVDs, books full of sand, and my personal favorite….the DVD case with 2 live bedbugs.

The book that comes back from an in-system library with a few pages obviously falling out, but no “damage noted” slip. Also, I hate processing returns from heavy smokers.

We used to get dvds back with ROACHES. The customer was charges for the late fees/damage. and not allowed to check anything out until they returned any items sans roaches. They did not come back. 🙂
