Recover (TXLA 2022)

This is the first of a few comics we made for the Texas Library Association, to promote its fabulous annual conference. #TXLA22 will take place in Fort Worth in April, 2022. The theme this year is Recover, Rebalance, Reconnect. I’m so ready for conferences to start again. Library Comic will be at booth #2212.

The first couple times you rejacket a book cover can be a struggle. Mylar can be a static charged mess if handled improperly. But once you get the hang of it, rejacketing is such a calming process; smooth plastic, your favorite folding tool, clean lines, books that end up looking nice and shiny… so pleasant.
