Under 6 or over 6? What about if today is her 6th birthday? That would be a neat way to get kids into the library – visit on your birthday and get a prize. I wonder if libraries do birthday parties. Over the years, when I was a children’s librarian, I hadn’t heard or seen a birthday party in the library, but I bet with a little planning we could pull it off.

At least two of those items grant wishes-for-prices. Glad she doesn’t hand those out. If the child is 10, they get the Pokemon!
