Even if you _always_ use an automated kiosk, you are in a public space and people can see what the books you pick up. Same as the grocery clerk notices while you always have a lot of fresh veggies, there is also a couple packs of Twinkies in each weeks cart :{
It’s kind of unprofessional to comment on someone’s reading habits — obviously you’re going to see what they check out, but they might not want to discuss that with you.
