Two days ago at our library, a few of us were musing over what was on the endpapers of a book. Wish we could have a called the patron to ask! (The book was withdrawn, and we did not charge the patron because we couldn’t be sure it wasn’t them.)
I need more details! Was it food-like?
If I had a nickel for every time we had to deal with pasta in a book, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s odd that it happened twice.
