I always get the receipt: it makes a great bookmark now that we don’t use date due cards anymore! 😉
Also, when I either have a lot of items checked out, or from multiple libraries with different due dates (the university library where I work has longer loan times than my local public library!), it helps me keep better track of what needs to be returned where by when! 😀
