Patron: You have a positive, non-American attitude.
Jody: I am an American.

Patron: But you’re not American American.
Jody: I’m at least as American as you are.

Patron: Well what language do you speak at home?
Jody: English.

Patron: No, I mean at home home.
Jody: Oh, is English not your first language? I thought you were being awful, but maybe you’re just confused.
