Esther: Your whole faked confidence thing really works.

Laura: Is that your grandma?
Esther: No, that’s Laura Ingalls Wilder. She wrote the Little House books.

Laura: Those are kind of like the Oregon Trail video game, right?
Esther: Not really. The series starts in Wisconsin in the 1870s.

Laura: Do people die of snakebites or dysentery?
Esther: You’ll have to read them to find out.
