Grant: We have a machine that might be able to do that.

Patron: Might?
Grant: It works some of the time.

Patron: I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do.
Grant: We call that the First Trial.

Patron: Isn’t there someone here who can help me?
Grant: I led you here. You must take the next step alone.

    I thought Grant was the technophile. He should be able to figure this device out. Open lid; put in the document, face down; put your USB stick in the computer; click Ok on the quarantine notice from the antivirus program; push the big green button to scan the document. Tell the OS to eject the USB memory stick. Safety remove the USB from the computer.

      Yeah, I think he’s bored and purposely messing with this patron.

    Although not all hardware (especially old stuff) is necessarily intuitive 🙂
