



Gigi: By refusing to say anything about a book you didn’t like, you’re letting on that you didn’t like it.
Mike: I’ve foreseen this problem.
Mike: To avoid this criticism of my behavior, I’m making the only logical choice: I’m not going to say anything about any books.
Gigi: That goes against the spirit of working here.
Mike: And yet there’s no rule against it.
Gigi: We’re supposed to help our patrons connect to books that will empower, inform, and entertain them.
Mike: And I’ll do that wordlessly, although there may be a few inadvertent sighs and grumbles.
