    Oh, my, days… My cheese lunch is attempting to levitate up my throat.

      Actually, the thing I have in my household which looks like that cheese slicer was called a cucumber slicer. Aspiring-middle-class Brits like my grandparents wouldn’t be seen dead slicing cheese, but slicing cucumber was very “U”!
