Patron 1: I hope I didn’t make you uncomfortable.
Patron 2: Nor I, you.

Patron 1: Old books make me sneeze.
Patron 2: I have a delicate immune system but, luckily, very few allergies.

Patron 1: It sounds like the beginning of a romantic comedy.
Patron 2: I’m not sure I could date anyone who’d touch library books with their bare hands.

Patron 1: My love of reading trumps the risk of contamination. And I wash my hands early and often.
Patron 2: I stand corrected.

    Too late. I am afraid that reading may have already contaminated Trump. So at least something did. As the saying goes, “Vote early and often!”
