Jody: That kid was unhappy with our summer reading prize.
Lucy: Did you show him the gold embossing on the certificate?
Jody: We have to do something.
Lucy: No we don’t. He read a bunch of books anyway.
Jody: He might not participate next year.
Lucy: You’re right, we need to plan ahead to keep them reading!
Jody: Oh look, here’s my budget request for prizes that you rejected this year.
Lucy: We really needed the money for something else that seemed important at the time.
