Lucy: I’m afraid we don’t impose a daily limit on reference questions per patron.
Martin: I can’t get anything done.
Lucy: I’m sure you’ll have time to look at your books later.
Lucy: They will still be there when she’s gone.
Patron: I’m not leaving until you find more pony books for me!
Martin: [sigh] Fine, let’s get on with it.

I have a sneaking suspicion this will be my daughter once she is old enough to ask reference questions…
She want his to pony up? Well, one of my nephew’s like that, but with books on trains and ships. He’s read everything the entire system has on them by now. He still wants more.
