Yeah, I need to figure out what she’s up to other than going to a conference. 🙂
When I went to my first ALA get-together way back in…well, way, way back, I would take _every_ freebie I could get my hands on and ended up recycling as much as I could before stuffing my suitcase and backpack. As the years went by, I took fewer and fewer giveaways and, after a certain number of years, you’d have to _pay_ me to take almost anything. Nowadays, I will only accept something really practical, so enough bags, hot beverage mugs, travel containers, posters, pens, post-its, etc., and definitely no ARCs. No room for any more books either. Novel idea: borrow books and media from libraries.
I always appreciate you stopping by our booth to say hello, and now that I think about it you’re usually empty-handed. 🙂
