So the library has a book on mixing cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. My city library has a few of those as well; too bad it is closed right now. I get the feeling in either library, they would prefer you check the book out and try the recipes at home.
This would be tricky, also, depending on whether or not the library branch is attached to a community center, which is considered a public space, and there may be bylaws against serving alcohol there. With independent, free-standing branches, the library can set its own rules.
