Patron: I want this book removed from the library.
Lucy: Okay. Let me get you a form to fill out.

Patron: And those two were not helpful.
Lucy: They did what they are supposed to and referred your challenge to me because I’m in charge.

Patron: I feel like no one is taking me seriously.
Lucy: I am. And I’ll make sure our formal challenge process evaluates the book’s place in our collection based on your concerns.

Patron: Do you think it will be removed?
Lucy: Not a chance, but we hope you’ll be pleased with the time and energy we will seem to spend coming to that conclusion.
