Being hit on at work is always an uncomfortable ordeal. When you do read what’s going on, you’re sometimes not sure how to react, and end up feigning obliviousness. Sometimes it works, sometimes the “admirer” finds it “endearing” and doubles down.
I wish guys would hit on me at work. So far, it’s only been the little-old-lady types that have tried… I’m in my 30’s, most think I’m in my late 20’s, and they are shameless. Luckily, they relent when I start talking about my ex boyfriend. (I could use the same tactic if guys start being a problem; bisexuality has a few perks.)
Wow, that guy is a walking stereotype.

I just want to do my job. Please leave me alone.
