Mike: You’re telling me! In fact, I have a list of suggestions. First of all--
Lucy: Mike, right now I need you to focus on the new check-in procedure.
Mike: But I'm already awesome at this.
Lucy: And I'm going to show you the official procedure.
Mike: Oh I see, this is about conformity.
Mike: Very well, proceed with the micromanagement.

Libraries are retail with a living wage. (For librarians, anyway. Mostly.)
