Woman: Your hands are filthy.

Martin: A little hand sanitizer will fix that.

Woman: They’re still filthy.
Martin: But now they’re 99.9% germ free.

Woman: No, they’re not! Your hands are now covered with germ corpses. It’s worse!
Martin: Socially acceptable germ corpses.

  1. Dead bacteria is easy for even a compromised immune system to deal with. Mind you, 99.9% dead means 0.1% still alive and kicking, and a healthy immune system can usually deal with that forthwith.

    1. That 0.1% is easily taken care of by an immuno-deficient body as well. Immuno-compromised may still have issues though.

      1. Ironmouse will… stay in her room, where she’s safe.

  2. I would like to refer this library user to comic #34, where we already established that Martin may have the most “robust immune system” of all the library staff, who should feel lucky to be served by Martin! (https://librarycomic.com/comic/34/)
