Martin: Did you find any books for your husband?
Patron: Not one.

Martin: I’m sorry about that.
Patron: No, you’re not. You’ve come to gloat.

Martin: It’s hard to do quality readers’ advisory for someone we know so little about.
Patron: Fine. I’ll make a list of things he enjoys and then I’ll be back.

Martin: Wouldn’t it be easier to send him?
Patron: Are you kidding? He hates books.
