Jody: It should be here in about a week.
Patron: Terrific.

Jody: Unless someone pulls it off the holds shelf and it disappears.
Patron: I’m 100% sure no one will be able to get away with such a thing while you’re on the job.

Patron: I mean you’re like the library’s very own guard dog!
Jody: You should have stopped with the first non-compliment.

Library Comic is published two days a week, Monday and Wednesday. Book reviews Tuesday and Thursday.

    Third in line and the book should be there in a week? How short ist the loan period for this book? Two days? At my library each patron can have a book for four weeks, so this woman would have to wait at least three months.

    Maybe it’s a hot new release, and as a matter of course, it only loans for 48 hours for now.
