Grant: How did your date go?
Martin: That wasn’t a date. It was a get together.
Grant: You left your house and skipped a night of reading. Friday night was an event.
Martin: It was fun.
Grant: Fun? What did you?
Martin: I’m not sure. I remember a few beers and some horribly mis-thrown darts. Then her comforting me after I referred to myself as a remainder on the slush pile of life.
Grant: That’s very specific.
Martin: I’ve been saving that line for the right moment. I think she and I are going to be friends.
