Stephanie: Then do it.
Gigi: He doesn’t have any money.
Stephanie: Then don't worry about it.
Gigi: And he has a really good excuse.
Stephanie: Then waive his fine.
Gigi: Who will fill the hole in the collection?
Stephanie: Have you seen how many books we have? Nobody will notice.
Stephanie: Then do it.

Well, Stephanie’s not wrong.
She says out in the open what many of us (I think) are thinking to ourselves. _And,_ she is so unabashedly phlegmatic.
I hope that book makes an appearance in a future strip. I love self-referential humor.
