Jody: Regular exercise seems to help every health condition.
Patron: I’m not training to run a marathon.

Jody: Have you tried eating more vegetables?
Patron: Why would I do that to myself?

Jody: How about ginger tea? It’s what my mom always made for me when I wasn’t feeling well?

Patron: I have to admit, I do feel a bit better. Those librarians aren’t as smart as they think they are.
Jody: Could I get you to put that into writing?

      only mine– I’m allergic to leafy greens (for real).

    I’ve been told ginger has anti-inflammatory properties. But this came from someone with extreme inflammations who “hated pills.” I’ve been assured caffeine has thermogenic properties, but I wouldn’t make coffee and tea a prime part of a weight loss strategy. Note: Am not a certified or licensed medical professional, but have exasperated some.
