Lucy: Excuse me, but can you tell me how the teen librarian is doing?
Patron 1: We’re not throwing Esther under your bus.
Lucy: I just want you to be honest.
Patron 2: It took us a while to get her to listen to us.
Patron 1: We’re not about to ruin a good thing.
Lucy: You’re saying she does listen to you?
Patron 1: We’ll take the 5th!
Lucy: I’m not asking—
Patron 2: No offense, but we come here to get away from it all.
Patron 1: We get enough of “authority figures” like you at school.
Patron 1: We’re not throwing Esther under your bus.
