Advertising

When you sponsor Library Comic, your ad goes out with the 5 comics we publish that week, usually on weekday mornings. We only have one sponsor each week.

Library Comic is read on LibraryComic.com, in daily and weekly Mailchimp newsletters, plus via Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter. Its size and panel format are optimized for social media, and it is designed to be read on phones and tablets as well as computers. Our comic is currently seen, on average, by more than 300,000 people per week. (more information on our audience)

Your  banner for our site may be any of these standard sizes in any format: 600 x 150, 728 x 90, or 800 x 200. We may be able accommodate other sizes on request. Animated GIF files are fine, but we recommend they not exceed 200kb.

We need your banner and URL at least a week before it’s supposed to run on our site, or earlier if you’d like feedback. We can also create a banner for you for an additional fee.

A larger version of your banner will appear in our social media channels. We will be happy to adapt that for you at no extra charge. Or, if you’d prefer, you may provide us with a 1080 x 1080 unanimated image for these posts. It’s better if this image contains your URL.

We use stats from social media sites and Mailchimp to track views, and a WordPress plugin to track clicks. This information will be reported to you following your sponsorship week, again a month or two later, and anytime you ask for it after that.

Here’s more detail about how your banners, images, and a thank you message appear from us:
